on november 18, the ministry of industry and information technology and the state administration of market supervision and administration jointly issued the notice on the coordinated and stable development of the supply chain of the lithium ion battery industry chain. the notice pointed out that local departments must guide lithium battery enterprises to reasonably formulate development goals based on actual conditions and industrial trends. on the premise of stable supply of key materials, adequate investment in r&d and innovation, and adequate supporting funds, they should appropriately expand the production scale according to time and needs, optimize the regional layout of the industry, and avoid low-level homogeneous development and vicious competition.

in order to ensure the coordination and stability of the lithium battery industry chain supply chain, the ministry of industry and information technology said that it would focus on the following aspects:
first, adhere to scientific planning and promote the orderly layout of lithium battery industry. local industrial and information competent departments should timely understand the development of local lithium battery manufacturing and primary materials (cathode materials, cathode materials, diaphragms, electrolytes, etc.), secondary materials (battery grade lithium carbonate, lithium hydroxide, etc.), and formulate local lithium battery industry development policies based on facts and facts in accordance with the requirements of the "fourteenth five year plan" manufacturing industry series planning and the guiding opinions on promoting the development of the energy electronics industry.
